4Drive Czech Republic links travellers with established local rental providers across the country. We handle the booking process online, then you collect your vehicle directly from the provider at your chosen location. Each rental agreement is signed on collection, with the local company handling vehicle handover, documentation and support during your rental period.
Our platform covers major cities and regional hubs throughout the Czech Republic. Every vehicle listing shows transparent terms: what you pay online as a booking advance, what you settle on collection, which payment methods the provider accepts for that specific vehicle, and whether a deposit hold applies. No surprises, no hidden clauses.
Start by entering your pick-up location, dates and times on the homepage. The search returns available vehicles from local providers serving that area. Each listing displays the total rental cost, the booking advance due online, the balance due on collection, accepted payment methods for the final balance, and deposit requirements if applicable.
When you find a suitable vehicle, complete the booking by paying the advance online with a debit or credit card. Cash is not accepted for online payments. You receive a voucher by email containing full details: provider contact information, collection address, vehicle specifics, your chosen extras, and payment instructions for the remaining balance.
On your collection date, head to the location shown in your voucher. The local provider will verify your driving licence, complete the rental agreement, conduct a vehicle inspection noting any existing damage in the contract, collect the balance payment, and hand over the keys. Collection methods vary: some providers operate service desks at airports or city offices, others arrange hotel delivery.
We work with rental providers in Prague, Brno, Karlovy Vary, Pardubice, Cesky Krumlov, Plzen, Ostrava, Mlada Boleslav, Marianske Lazne and Liberec. Each city offers different vehicle types depending on local provider fleets. Prague and Brno provide the widest selection, including compact hatchbacks, estate cars, SUVs and pickup trucks. Smaller cities typically stock practical models suited to regional travel.
Vaclav Havel Airport Prague remains the most popular pick-up point, located 17 km west of the city centre via Route 7 and Evropska street. Many travellers collect at the airport then drive to destinations like Karlovy Vary 130 km west, Cesky Krumlov 175 km south via Route 3, or Brno 210 km southeast on the D1 motorway.
Selected vehicles in our inventory qualify for no-deposit rental. This means the local provider does not place a hold on your card at collection. Standard excess still applies - the maximum amount you cover if the vehicle is damaged or stolen. No deposit simply removes the card hold; it does not alter your liability in the event of an incident.
Not every vehicle offers this option. Payment requirements depend on the specific model and provider, not on vehicle class or category. When browsing search results, check each listing for deposit terms. If you lack access to a credit card, consider increasing the limit on your debit card or selecting a vehicle that accepts debit cards for both final payment and any deposit hold.

Our registered address is Stare Mesto, Prague, Czech Republic. All booking confirmations, vouchers and receipts come from this address. Once you collect your vehicle, the local provider becomes your primary point of contact for roadside assistance, extensions, early returns and damage reports. Their contact details appear in your voucher.
